How to file your UCR registration

UCR is one of the easier filings once you know where the real portal is. This walks you from your USDOT number to saved proof of registration.

Start at the official UCR system

Use the UCR Plan's registration link. Avoid renewal solicitations that look governmental but lead to a private filing service.

Look up your company

Enter the USDOT number and confirm the legal name and company details before continuing.

Confirm the registration year and fleet bracket

Choose the year you are filing and verify the vehicle count used to calculate the fee. Fees are set by bracket and can change by registration year.

Certify, pay, and save the receipt

Review the filing before certifying it. Download or print the confirmation and receipt after payment.

Put the next cycle on the calendar
